How do I restore a purchase?
Open AnimeLife → Settings → Restore Purchases. This re-links your existing App Store or Google Play purchase to the app. It doesn't charge you again. If a purchase still isn't showing up, email us at the address above with the platform (iOS/Android) and the email or account you purchased under.
How do I report a story beat?
Every story beat in AnimeLife has a "Report" flag. Tap it, choose a reason, and it's logged on your device. If you want to send us a report directly, email us a description of the beat (character name, age or year, and what it said) at the address above.
How do I delete my data?
AnimeLife doesn't have an account or a server-side save. Your life, your Life Ledger, and your family tree live only in the app's local storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes your data. There's nothing on our end to separately request the removal of. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
What is Story Polish, and how do I turn it off?
Story Polish is an optional, off-by-default setting that can lightly vary the wording of a story beat. It never changes your choices, stats, or outcomes. The writing service is not configured in build 16 or version 17, so these releases always use the bundled story text and send no story content. To turn it off or confirm it is off, go to Settings → Story Polish.
I'm dealing with something heavy. Is there help?
AnimeLife is an adult game and it goes to dark places, including addiction, violence, crime, and loss. If a beat brought up something real, or you just need someone to talk to, AnimeLife's Settings → Crisis Resources screen has a fixed list of hotlines and links, including 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), the Crisis Text Line, SAMHSA's helpline, and IASP's international directory. Tapping one opens your phone's own dialer, messages, or browser outside of the app. Our full safety and content protocol explains the rest of the controls.
Does AnimeLife work offline?
Yes. The entire game, including every event, choice, and outcome, runs from hand-written templates on your device. No account or internet connection is required for core story play.
